Yes, we have done it again. Listed our property for sale, that is.
The mowing has become too much for me to do as my husband is no longer able to do any. Plus the weather isn't helping. So much rain so the grass grows thick and quickly. I can't keep up. Last time out I beached the mower. We were lucky it was in a place that we could get the vehicle nearby and tow it out. The ground is so soft from all the rain.
The travelling back and forth is also becoming a real chore. A 300-mile round trip in a day for a doctor's appointment at the VA hospital is just too much driving for me now. We need to live much closer to the hospital.
So let's hope third time is a charm.

Too bad you can't get a health facility closer. that is a crummy reason to have to move. But that being said, good luck!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're service connected too and our VA hospital is about the same distance as yours. Fortunately, a satellite clinic was opened 45 minutes away. Did you know that you can put into the VA for care closer to home and the VA will pay that doctor? Also you can put in for home health care with the VA. If you haven't already call your husband's veterans service officer and he or she can tell you how to go about this. Hope this helps. Cookie
